As a 27-year educator, collaborator, and leader, Dr. Scott G. Martzloff has been a part of successful teams his entire life. His high school basketball team was the first one in school history to win a large-school New York State Championship.  As a 7’ 1” center he was recruited... by several colleges and accepted a full scholarship to the College of the Holy Cross where he played Division I basketball for four years. Following graduating college, he was invited to play professional basketball for the Detroit Pistons as well as professional opportunities in Spain, Holland, and Hong Kong.  Dr. Martzloff was able to parlay these achievements into his educational career as he became a Special Education Teacher, School Building Administrator, and then a Superintendent of Schools in urban, rural and suburban school districts in New York State. In his last district, Dr. Martzloff served as Superintendent of Schools for a District with over 10,000 students and had an annual budget over $200 million. The district was ranked #1 for academic performance out of 94 districts for 11 straight years by Buffalo Business First. The district was also ranked highly for administrative efficiency when compared to others in the region.
