Samir Brown is up next! The guard from Leland, NC, has gained recognition throughout the basketball community. The guard played a year of Juco at Itasca Community College in Minnesota. He now has proven himself to become a Division 1 player, a dream fulfilled. His basketball jou...rney has been anything but smooth sailing. The road to Division 1 was tough. First Brown played at North Brunswick High where he was cut freshman year. He made his way back on the team for his sophomore and junior year. He then played at Rolesville High where he was cut his senior year. Cut from the teams; his perseverance proved too strong. No rankings and no starts but all determination. Brown now has signed with Regent University. Regent is a Division I member of the 12-school South Division. Show more
