Hi All! My name is Leah (she/her), and I am a current Freshman here at Temple. I am a psychology major in the College of Liberal Arts with an interest in minoring criminal justice. Transitioning from high school to college can be scary; here at Temple our motto is “Perseverance ...conquers” and in my time here I have already noticed their diligent efforts to support us students in our academic success. Another quality about Temple that eased my mind coming in was its inclusivity. It is a school that has something for everyone, and students are encouraged to participate in as much as possible! I haven’t been here long, but from personal experiences, the multitude of welcome events, and my first-year experience class I was able to learn a lot about myself, the university, and ways to utilize the help offered in order to be the best student I can be. Again, choosing a new school can be stressful, and getting started on your own can be daunting, but I am eager to chat and help ease your mind! Show more
