I am a senior-standing student at UC Merced, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science. I transferred here from Merced Community College after receiving my Associate of Arts in Psychology. While at UC Merced, I have taken advantage of a number o...f research-related opportunities in preparation for my graduate studies. Since my start in January of 2022, I have assisted in four labs, one of which I have led the design and implementation of a research project I theoretically developed mostly on my own. I also have designed graphics for another lab. In addition to my lab studies, I have also received a number of fellowships at UC Merced that have led to me being a recipient of financial awards totalling just under $13,000. I also have presented at two research conferences to discuss my own research as well as in several other academic settings, including UC Merced’s International Honors Society chapter, Psi Chi, on the topic of parapsychology, as well as UC Merced’s first hosted “Global Game Jam”, on topics relating to virtual reality.
