Greetings, I am Jania Davis! I’m a rising senior at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), majoring in Business Administration. I started my collegiate-athletic career at Tallahassee Community College (TCC), earning my AA in business and transferred to FAMU Fall ...21’ semester. Going juco (junior-college) was the best thing that happened to me as a teenager. It allowed me to develop mentally and physically as an athlete and prepared me for the D1 level. TCC is about ten minutes from FAMU, which allowed me to build relationships, friendships, and network with people before I transferred to the university. I’ve been playing softball for over a decade now along with other sports growing up. As an athlete in high school, the recruiting processes can be challenging for choosing the school you want to be your next home.
