Hi everybody! I’m Grace Paterson (she/her) originally from Seattle, Washington. I am currently a first year at Barnard College pursuing a degree in humanities, though my exact major is undecided. Outside of academics, I am a coxswain on the Columbia Men’s Lightweight Rowing team.... I chose Barnard because of the small, tight-knit community offered within the larger Columbia network. The flexible curriculum allows me to take classes in a variety of different disciplines which allows for exploration in many fields of study before and after major declaration.
