I am a senior at Christopher Newport University, majoring in Communications with a minor in Psychology. When I came to the CNU campus, I absolutely fell in love. I have a unique perspective of the campus as I have attended all four years. I was accepted for an interview after I ...applied and got waitlisted, which allowed me to learn more about CNU and what the school requires of one to be a Captain! I would love to talk more about the details of my interview if you’re interested. I am offering a closer look into all that this campus has to offer, and I am more than willing to share personal experiences of the amazing things that this campus provides for its students. Throughout my time here, I was able to have full access to the free tutoring center, as well as the career center. These are very unique aspects of this university that not many have the opportunity to take advantage of. I was able to get a glimpse into Greek life, as well as manage the social media pages for the men's soccer team, which meant a lot of time on the field. The communications program at Christopher Newport has opened my horizons to a career field that I didn’t even know existed. It has taught me how to write and communicate with other professionals at a highly respectable level.
