Hi! I’m a sophomore at Dartmouth currently planning to major in anthropology with potential minors in psychology and human-centered design. I can definitely speak to the freshman experience at Dartmouth and about ways to navigate the quarter system during your time at this small..., quirky college in the woods! I can also share my experiences about being a queer woman of color who didn’t end up in a sorority at Dartmouth, which has been a historically white-dominated institution with high participation in Greek Life and can come off as intimidating to people who don’t encompass those identities. Throughout my four terms on campus, I have been involved with undergraduate research in media and health behaviors, the Asian American LLC as a member then student coordinator, a female and non-binary acapella group called the Rockapellas, the Mental Health Union Executive Board, Dartmouth Running Team, and more! The Center for Professional Development at Dartmouth is a great support system for exploring potential career interests and providing step-by-step guidance on landing internships, and I can speak more about that as well.
