Chris Kelly is an investor and advisor working with transformative businesses in media, finance, and technology. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco 49ers Academy, an alternative program to provide a small, caring, and safe community to the studen...ts of East Palo Alto. Additionally, Kelly purchased the Sacramento Kings in 2013 with an experienced group of technology executives, where he serves on the executive board of the managing entity for the team, the arena, and associated business interests. In prior years, he was the former Facebook Chief Privacy Officer and Head of Global Public Policy and also served as first General Counsel and as VP of Corporate Development. In 2010, Chris was a Democratic Candidate for California Attorney General. He was also the co-author of 2012's Proposition 35 to update California's laws fighting human trafficking, which — both by margin of victory and number of votes — was the most successful initiative in the history of the state of California.
