I am a junior Business Administration: Finance student with a minor in Aviation Safety at Embry Riddle Prescott. I am here to walk you through what it’s like to be a student at ERAU, from clubs and organizations to teachers and classes. I am a member of the Aviation Business Net...working Club, the Aviator’s Mentorship Program, the Department of Student Engagement and the Student Government Association. One huge aspect of coming to ERAU is asking yourself, where do you see yourself in the world of aviation? From being a pilot to an Engineer to an Aeronautical Accountant, Embry Riddle has plenty of routes to take you any place imaginable in the world of aviation. Pilots can only fly roughly 100 hours a month, so as somebody who wants to be more than just a pilot, I decided to get my hands in as many different things as possible outside of flight for a well-rounded résumé that will enable me to work between flights. Embry Riddle has prepared me to be a professional better than I imagine most schools can. At the end of the day, picking a university is very stressful and I would love to provide clarity and share insight as to why I chose to become an Eagle. Show more
