Georgetown University of Medicine

Brian grew up in San Diego, CA. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Preprofessional Studies. Brian played collegiate rugby for Notre Dame and was involved in Naval ROTC. Following graduation from Notre Dame, Brian spent ...two years working at a medical practice in Bethesda, MD as chief assistant for a joint reconstruction surgeon and as a scribe for an orthopaedic trauma surgeon. During that time, he also volunteered at two medical clinics for the medically underserved population of Washington D.C. In 2019 he received a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. He is a current third year medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine where he is actively involved in medical research. Brian chose to attend Georgetown as the school’s dedication to service and the Jesuit ethos of Cura Personalis, or “care for the whole person,” resonated deeply with him. Brian is a mentor for first- and second-year medical students at Georgetown and hopes to pursue a career in orthopaedic surgery. Show more
