Hi! I’m a junior at Williams College currently studying economics. I come from a small low-income area right outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. I found out about Williams through basketball and over time realized that Williams was the best place for me as I navigated the colleg...e recruitment process. I came into Williams with essentially no idea of what I wanted to study nor what I wanted to do as a career. The Williams community has really pushed me and helped foster my interest within economics and finance, and so I’ve continuously sought out different opportunities to learn more about those fields. As a first generation college student, this entire process was new to my family and I, and Williams has been nothing but helpful throughout the entire process. Between helping me explore my interests and introducing me to student-led clubs on campus Williams has really put me in a position to be successful.
