I am a recent graduate from UCLA (this past December) with a BS in Physiological Sciences pursuing medical school. As a pre-med student, there is immense pressure to begin working on your medical school application, needing various leadership positions within clubs and organizat...ions. As I finished my degree, I am offering a complete view on the academic and extracurricular landscape at UCLA. Throughout my four years, I attained leadership roles in 2 separate organizations, was on board for UCLA Men’s Beach Volleyball for 2 years, published more than 4 papers at 2 separate labs, became a lead lab coordinator, and was a member of the highly selective UCLA Sports Medicine Program where I worked alongside Division 1 athletes across various rehab and treatment modalities. I have just began my gap year with a position in Healthcare Consulting so I can offer insight into that career path as well, as well as experience with various other healthcare positions. Choosing your college can be an incredibly stressful decision, and I would love to provide a lot of insight into the opportunities afforded to me at UCLA and the main draws as well as drawbacks for it!
