Hello everyone! My name is Ben Esper Blizard and I am a third-year student at Columbia University in the City of New York, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Literature and Cultural History and concentrating in Linguistics. In addition to my academics, I am a member of... the Columbia University Men's Swimming and Diving team. Outside of the pool, I am involved in multiple organizations on campus, including Columbia’s Bacchanal and Columbia’s Sports, Media, and Entertainment group. Being a student-athlete at Columbia has prepared me with the skills and work ethic required to be successful after college through my time management skills, teamwork orientation, and competitive drive. Through navigating online classes through the pandemic, my college experience has had its highs and lows.
