Hey! I am a rising Senior in the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC). Currently, I am pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with a Material Science emphasis. Academia can be a very intimidating experien...ce, but I would like to get a Master’s Degree in Material Engineering. I also transferred from a local community college into USC with the intention of pursuing Chemistry, but changed my mind. During Zoom University, I was apart of a community that actively engaged with student to bring awareness to students about healthy relationships known as RSVP (Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention). Once we were allowed back on campus, I balanced a part-time student worker position with USC Housing alongside academics and various campus clubs. AiCHE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers), Food Science and Nutrition Club, Volunteer Club, and CASA (Chinese American Student Association) provided wonderful opportunities to build a strong community of like-minded individuals. Trying to navigate college can be rough, especially determining a good work-life balance, so please feel free to ask me any question about my ever continuing journey. I am also a foodie, so I know the best places near campus (even one that is open 24 hrs).
