I am a first-year student dual majoring in Government and Economics at Claremont McKenna College. At Claremont McKenna College, I am able to use opportunities and academic support that I didn’t have before as a first-generation, low-income student from Dallas, Texas. I am open t...o talking about anything from the application process, academics at Claremont McKenna College, residential life, and extra-curricular activities. I have been able to work on-campus as an Outreach Coordinator for the Gould Center for Humanistic Studies, be a fellow for the Kravis Lab for Social Impact Women of Color program, and be a part of Pitzer Jumpstart as a team member helping children to develop communication and comprehension skills. In my first year at CMC, I have gained valuable experiences that have helped foster my communication and leadership skills.
